From the Studio to the Store: My Taylor Swift Illustrations in Vienna

I recently had one of those incredibly exciting moments that makes all the years of drawing and creating feel very real — I spotted my Taylor Swift illustrations on display in a store in Vienna!

The illustrations were commissioned for a Taylor Swift calendar published in Germany by Athesia Kalenderverlag, and while travelling through Vienna, I happened to see the finished calendar in the beautiful Thalia Buchhandlungen store.

There is something very special about seeing your work move beyond the studio and into the real world — especially in another country. Seeing my illustrations sitting on the shelves, ready to be discovered by customers, was such a surreal and rewarding experience.

From a drawing on my desk in Melbourne to a published calendar in a Viennese bookshop — what an exciting journey for an illustration!
